Ooh, crazy's what they think about me

"I want to help, but Jay is just being a real brat about the whole thing," Amanda said to Angel while they were at the office getting everything on schedule for work. Amanda did most of the work, but Angel was around to help, too. Honestly, she was glad she had Angel to talk to. Especially about Jay.

"I can't believe you called him a brat," Angel laughed. Amanda laughed too.

"He puts you under a lot of stress, doesn't he?" Angel wanted to know as she had a baby slumbering on her chest. She patted Freddie's back ever so calmly.

Amanda only watched. She wished she could feel that kind of love, but she knew it wouldn't be from Jay.

"Well, lately, he's more of a big poop than anything." Amanda did have to admit. She looked back at the schedule.

"Then why don't you say, 'Hey, big poop, we're going to help Jody and Aaron move!' I'd like to see his expression then." Angel smiled.

Amanda couldn't help but laugh, but he could make her so bitter sometimes that she wanted to cry. She hadn't signed up for that. But he could be so cold. She'd try to cook for him and he would have none of it. It was hard for them to have a meal together lately. Usually, he was in his office aka the computer room playing a game.

"I guess he's got friends," Amanda shrugged. "Hopefully, he talks to someone." She stared into oblivion as she stared at the spreadsheet.

"But what if he doesn't?" Angel reminded her that he seldom talked to Jared and they were brothers.

Amanda nodded. It felt lonely being with Jay. She had no idea what she did wrong. Just about then the door jingled. To Amanda's surprise, it was Cara and she was bringing sandwiches from the nearby sandwich place.

She wanted to know if they were helping Jody move.

"Well, I want to help, but Jay doesn't seem to think they need me," Amanda told her.

Her smile was open. "Well, you can help me. Let's just leave Jay out of it, why don't we?"

Angel gave her a nod. The baby was getting fussy so she went to change and feed him.

Amanda told her she liked that idea. What Jay didn't know wasn't going to hurt him.

  4. This is funny!: ' "Then why don't you say, 'Hey, big poop, we're going to help Jody and Aaron move!' I'd like to see his expression then." Angel smiled." I also love that Amanda ultimately goes ahead and does what she wants, regardless of Jay's opinions: "Amanda told her she liked that idea. What Jay didn't know wasn't going to hurt him." Such a satisfying ending!
