"Well, is there anything else I should know?" Nick looked at Amber as if she were suppose to be the gossip girl around.
"No, I don't think so." She looked at him funny.
"What about you and Kyle? How's that going?" He grabbed an orange from the kitchen counter. He'd made himself at home in Heath's old room. Well, sort of. He so wanted to go through his stuff yet not. He felt as if he should leave that part of Heath alone from high school. So he had.
"Fine." She shrugged like she didn't want to talk about it.
"But you like him? Don't you?" Nick looked at her.
"Yeah," she smiled. He could tell that was more than thinking of him as just a friend. "But, I'm not rushing in to anything. OK?"
"Sure." Nick smiled at her. She shook her head, and grabbed her books. She had to go to the bus stop.
He needed to be on his way to the library to get his schedule because tomorrow he started classes at a new college. He had no idea how he'd exactly fit in there. He wasn't even sure how to get around campus, either. He guess he'd have to drive there after going to the library.
He just wish Heath was closer. He didn't know if he could wait until next month to see him.
